Because the members of the SAR are such good friends, it is an enjoyable occasion when they can all meet in a formal setting, dress to the nines, share libations and campfire stories, and generally have a good time. This year was no different. Jeff Lambert, as VP of the Piedmont District, played Maser of Ceremonies at an event hosted by the Bethabara Chapter, NCSSAR. Members of the Bethabara, Nathanael Greene, Alamance Battleground and Gen Francis Nash Chapters gathered at the Forsyth Country club for the festive occasion. Ellen Kutcher, Director of Historic Bethabara Park delivered the keynote address while the ladies and gentlemen of the Piedmont District provided a target-rich environment for the photographers in the crowd.
